I changed the thermal pads added a copper shim and used mx6 thermal paste. And my 17 R4 went from over heating and thermal throttling in less the 20 seconds on the cpu on furmark to a hotspot of 77degrees after a minute with power limit throttle

I have an offer to buy x17 r2 ( new laptop )for $956 and as I am starting college a laptop would come in handy. Alternatively wait and buy for $430 alieneware aurora r5 but it has inferior components , although water cooling. I care a lot about silence and don't know what to choose. Thanks for your help.

Hello. I have experienced a problem with my TECLEST F7 Plus not starting up. It is that when I press the start button, the logo appears for a moment and then immediately drops out. I thought it was caused by electrification, so I opened the cover and unplugged the battery connector and left it alone, but that did not solve the problem. So I sprayed electronic cleaner on the board memory, CPU, ITE, capacitors, etc. and scrubbed with a toothbrush. Then the F7 Plus booted up.

This fails to account for Sony's copyrighted scanning. They seem to be tracking the movie names and could be the reason why some videos won't play. They are all H264 MP4 format, yet a lot won't play.

I run my fans 100% all the time. They aren't really that loud. Yes I can hear them, but it keeps the laptop cool. When I start playing a game it still warms up but not near as bad.

I got a CHUWI LapBook Air 14.1 in 2019, which is ok but the chargers always break. It has the small round connection but is a very specific size so you can only order from china and they twice sent the wrong one. Now its stopped charging altogether. Such a pain.
